Williamstown to hold its First Annual Arts Festival

The day will include art vendors, music, a food court and workshops

MONROE TWP. -- Main Street in Williamstown, is holding its First Annual Arts Festival, on Saturday, April 30 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.This event is in concert with the objectives of the Main Street Committee, to develop and revitalize the Downtown area.

Main Street Chairman Ernie Carbone said that "showcasing our downtown with unique events will create an awareness that Williamstown is a place where families and businesses, can grow together."

Mayor Daniel Teefy stated that, "This event would not have been possible if it wasn't for the dedicated and passionate volunteers of our Main Street Committee who are working together with the township to revitalize our Main Street. Come out a enjoy the arts."

On display will be fine arts vendors; four musical groups; an extensive food court; workshops inside local businesses; and special activities at the Grand Theater.

Residents of all surrounding communities are invited to bring the entire family and spend some leisure time enjoying this special and very entertaining Festival.
