The Greater Swedesboro Business Association will match donation for tips leading to the arrest of the person who killed a local man.

(Provided photo) SWEDESBORO -- Local businesses are offering to match individual reward donations to increase the reward for anyone offering tips that lead to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for the murder of a local homeless man.
The body of Sylvester Combs, a 61-year-old man known as Buttons to local residents, was found on April 6 in an abandoned business trailer with multiple head injuries.
The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office and the borough of Swedesboro have both previously offered $2,500 each toward a reward and the Greater Swedesboro Business Association is now offering to add to it.
The Association will match individual donations up to $1,250, growing the reward from $5,000 to a total of $7,500 if donations reach the maximum of their match.
"We are deeply appreciative of the community's outpouring of support for law enforcement's efforts to solve this horrible and tragic crime," Gloucester County prosecutor Sean Dalton said in a written release Monday.
Swedesboro's community came together earlier this month to raise money for Combs' funeral and to hold a vigil in his memory.
Anyone who wants to donate to the GSBA Sylvester Combs Fund can bring checks to the Farmers Insurance Agency, 1506 Kings Highway, Swedesboro, or mail them to GSBA, P.O. Box 235, Swedesboro NJ 08085.
