Register by April 30 to ensure access to May bus tours
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - Parents and guardians of children who will be 5 years old on or before Oct.15, 2016, are urged to call the Washington Township Public Schools' registration office (856-589-6644, Ext. 6698) to schedule a registration appointment by April 30 for enrollment in the district's full-day kindergarten program in the fall.
Registering by month's end will ensure that your child is included in scheduled May bus tours to each of the district's three 2016-17 kindergarten sites.
Parents must have completed the registration process in order to participate in the bus tour for their assigned kindergarten program. The bus tours allow one adult and each child to ride the bus to their assigned school, meet some of the staff and take a tour of the building.
The bus tours will begin and end in Lot "F" near Pavilion B in Washington Lake Park at the following times:
Grenloch Terrace Early Childhood Center
- Wednesday, May 4: 9 a.m.
- Thursday, May 5: 9 a.m.
- Wednesday, May 11: 9 a.m.
- Thursday, May 12: 9 a.m.
- Friday, May 13: 9 a.m.
Thomas Jefferson Elementary
- Wednesday, May 4: 8:45 a.m. or 10:15 a.m.
- Thursday, May 5: 8:45 a.m. or 10:15 a.m.
- Wednesday, May 11: 8:45 a.m. or 10:15 a.m.
Whitman Elementary
- Wednesday, May 4: 9:30 a.m. or noon
- Thursday, May 5: 9:30 a.m. or noon
