The husband and wife, both 77 of Deptford, are in stable condition following the Friday morning accident.
FRANKLIN TWP. -- A Deptford couple was hospitalized with serious injuries after their car was hit by a tractor-trailer early Friday morning. .
Robert Kwasizur, 77, was driving his Ford Edge on Williamstown Road with his wife Dorothy Kwasizur, also 77, in the passenger seat when he failed to stop at a stop sign, according to Franklin Township police.
A tractor-trailer traveling on Coles Mill Road hit the couple's car and both vehicles left the road.
Dorothy Kwasizur was pinned in the car and had to be removed by the Franklinville Fire Department and was flown to Cooper Hospital. Her husband was transported to Cooper Hospital by ambulance. Both are currently in stable condition and the accident is still ongoing.
