A Clayton man is accused of threatening to kill a woman by putting a bag over her head and setting her house on fire.
WOODBURY -- A Clayton man has been indicted on multiple charges stemming from an incident in which he allegedly threatened to put a bag over a woman's face and set her home on fire with her inside.
Patrick G. Duffy is accused of threatening to kill the female victim and threatening to stab a male victim during a fight in Clayton on Jan. 5, according to criminal complaints.
Police reported that when they arrived on the scene Duffy attempted to get free from arrest by kicking at officers.
Duffy, a Clayton resident, has three previous felony convictions, according to police.
He is facing third degree charges of threatening to kill and resisting arrest and fourth degree aggravated assault, simple assault and obstruction.
