The first incident was reported Nov. 4 on Rittenhouse Drive. A resident was in her backyard when she was bitten by the critter.
She contacted animal control officials who trapped the skunk and sent it for testing, county spokeswoman Debra Sellitto reported.
Testing determined that the animal had rabies. The incident occurred during daylight hours and the animal was described as aggressive, Sellitto said.
