A plane bound for Philadelphia was forced to make an emergency landing an hour after takeoff due to mechanical issues.
TAMPA FLA. -- A plane bound for Philadelphia International Airport had to make an emergency landing in Florida, according to reports.
The American Airlines plane was forced to land at 6:52 a.m. Wednesday, about an hour after taking off from Tampa International, The Tampa Bay Times reported.
A mechanical issue was reported on the plane and fire trucks were sent to the tarmac as a precaution.
No injuries were reported and the 140 passengers aboard Flight 782 were all put on other flights, according to NBC 10.
No other flights were impacted by the emergency landing.
