A Deptford man faces charges related to two robberies reported in Gloucester Township and Deptford, authorities said.
GLOUCESTER TWP. -- A Deptford man was arrested Monday on charges related to a robbery at a township bank earlier this month, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office.
On Nov. 7, police said a man -- identified as Anthony Melton, 38 -- entered the Beneficial Bank on Berlin-Cross Keys Road and gave a note to a teller demanding cash. Police said he fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
Following an investigation by the prosecutor's office and the Gloucester Township Police Department, Melton surrendered at the Gloucester County Sheriff's Department on Monday.

Melton is also accused of robbing Fulton Bank in Deptford on Oct. 23, and attempting to rob a Bank of America in Monroe about an hour before he allegedly robbed the Gloucester Township Bank, according to the prosecutor's office.
He was charged with two counts of robbery and one count of criminal attempted robbery, and he is being held in the Salem County Correctional Facility, in Mannington. His bail was set at $100,000 for the case out of Gloucester Twp., $75,000 in the Deptford case and $50,000 in the Monroe case.
