Swedesboro will once again host Olde Kings' Jazzfest, Saturday, Oct 17, with a brand new look. Nobody likes change, but change is what keeps things moving forward. It was time to stir the pot. With eight years of evolving logistics and never knowing what Mother Nature has up her sleeve, the committee has decided to freshen up the event.

With the huge success of the "Dancing in the Street" Summer Series, it was decided to run a comparable Jazzfest series throughout the winter/spring months. The third Saturday of each month from October to April (March excluded due to holiday) will be held at Old Swedes Trinity Church with a different ensemble each month. This month's ensemble is The New Orleans Jazz Quartet, a Jazzfest favorite. Performances start at 7:30 p.m., donations welcomed.

Old Swedes Trinity Church is the beautiful structure that you pass on your right entering Swedesboro from the north along Kings Highway. It is on the Historic Registry. The acoustics in the church are warm and welcoming.

Tickets are available online at HistoricSwedesboro.com, borough hall or side door of the church. With limited seating, it is suggested to have a ticket in hand.
