All 52 contestants had a chance to relax and have some fun before competition begins this week.
LINWOOD -- "This is the most stressful moment of my life," Miss Delaware 2016 Amanda Debus said as she walked toward the driving range at the Linwood Country Club early Sunday evening.
Debus and the other 51 Miss America 2017 contestants received lessons on how to putt, chip and drive a golf ball from golf pro Jeff LeFevre and other professionals at the private 18-hole course.
Despite being under a tropical storm warning, the weather felt like an early fall day with a light breeze, but still warm enough for most of the women to wear shorts.

The preliminary competition begins Tuesday at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Miss America 2017 will be crowned Sunday night.
