Monies raised supports veterans through VetAbility Program

On Saturday, Aug. 6, motorcycle enthusiasts gathered in support of local veterans.  The 2nd annual Abilities Solutions "Mike Linde Memorial Poker Run" went off without a glitch, under threatening skies, and riders took their chances and revved up their bikes. Over $2,500 was raised to support veterans in need through our VetAbililty Program. Since its inception in 2013, VetAbility has provided assistance to over 450 veterans.

The poker run started at Abilities Solutions and ended at Brunswick Bowling Lanes in Deptford where riders and individuals served through our programs, and their families, enjoyed free bowling compliments of Brunswick.

Poker run stops included: Barb's Harley, Nick's Cycle shop, Trio Tavern, and Ott's on the Green. Guests bid on "Wine & Dine" baskets to help raise additional funds.  Thank you to event sponsors, volunteers, riders and participants!

Abilities Solutions is a nonprofit organization providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities and other barriers to full participation in the workforce. Visit us at www.abilities4work.com.
