Christine Barratt was chosen for her work ethic and outstanding job performance
Christine Barratt WOODBURY -- Christine Barratt was chosen by Inspira Medical Center Woodbury as the Employee of the Month. This Sewell resident was recognized for her work ethic, positive attitude, and outstanding job performance.
On the advice of her pastor, Barratt applied for a position to work at the hospital. That was five years ago.
Barratt had been working for Bayada as a home health aide but, because of the commutes between assignments, it was difficult to work 40 hours a week. She started a part time position in Food & Nutrition which then evolved into a full-time job.
When she arrives at 7:30 a.m., she sets up the meats and cheeses for the deli, then moves on to prepping the salad bar. She then works the deli and serves as the second cashier. After lunch, Christine goes into the kitchen to stock, clean, chop, and prep items for the following day.
"Christine is the type of employee who you never have any doubt that she will efficiently complete her own job responsibilities and, on her own, seek others who may need assistance. She consistently receives positive feedback from her peers and co-workers regarding teamwork." says Frank Baccare, director of Food & Nutrition. "And, she is just as kind and friendly as she is professional."
Barratt and her husband enjoy their free time together or with friends, riding bikes, working out, relaxing at the beach or working in their backyard garden growing flowers, herbs and vegetables.
