WOODBURY -- Randy Marshall, engineering, was chosen by Inspira Medical Center Woodbury as the Employee of the Month for August. He was recognized for his work ethic, positive attitude, and outstanding job performance
Forty years ago, Randy Marshall took the advice of his father-in-law and applied to work at the hospital. For high school he had taken woodworking at the vocational school and then he worked for a custom cabinetry business.
Marshall lists his primary responsibilities as woodwork and serving as the hospital's locksmith but he emphasizes that, like everyone in the department, he does a little bit of everything.
Marshall works the day shift and takes his turn rotating on the weekends. Working at night is often necessary to complete a certain project as he says, "things just don't break between 8 and 4:30!"
"Randy is the steady force of our Engineering team," notes Ken Zanghi, director of engineering. "He is our resident carpenter but he brings his professional skills to every task he receives. I am so proud to see him recognized for his performance."
Residing in Bellmawr, he and his wife Darlene have two adult children, Andrew and Jamie.
