FRANKLIN TWP. -- A 91-year-old man was killed Monday when he was hit by a Jeep Grand Cherokee on Delsea Drive, according to police.
John Spicer, of Franklinville, was trying to cross the road when he was struck by the vehicle driven by 50-year-old Michelle Czerpak of Wayne, Pennsylvania.
He was airlifted to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:30 p.m., Franklin police said.
No charged have been filed at this time and the crash is still under investigation.
This is the second pedestrian crash in two days in the county. On Sunday night, a 70-year-old Williamstown man was killed when he was hit by a Mercedes 500 and thrown 80 feet.
