Michael J. Mostovlyan, 32, of Clementon is accused of posing as a teenage girl and communicating with the students using Facebook Messenger.

Mostovlyan worked as a grounds maintenance employee for GCA Services Group, which provides contract employees for the school district.

Police began a three-month investigation after they were contacted by parents of Williamstown Middle School students who reported that their children exchanged suspected child pornography -- including images of themselves -- with Mostovlyan.

"He posed as a teenage female using different ages for different victims," according to Monroe Police Detective Derrick Jacobus. "He sent them images of females that are suspected child pornography."

Mostovlyan was arrested without incident on Thursday on the grounds of Whitehall Elementary School, police said.

He was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and placed in Salem County Correctional Facility on $200,000 full cash bail.

School district officials are cooperating with the investigation, police said.

Detectives are still trying to determine if other victims were involved and if Mostovlyan had any physical contact with the students.

"This investigation is ongoing and detectives are still trying to identify victims and locations where the incidents may have occurred," police said in a release issued about the arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Jacobus at 856-728-9800, ext. 501.

The Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office and Deptford Police Department assisted in the investigation.
