DEPTFORD TWP. -- Police have identified a 31-year-old man killed Sunday night when his pickup truck flipped on Route 55.
Thomas Bonelli of Pitman was driving northbound on Route 55 around 10:30 p.m. when his Nissan veered off the roadway and flipped over, landing on its roof.
Bonelli, the lone occupant, was thrown from the vehicle, state police said.
He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, Camden, where he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash. The cause of the accident remains under investigation, according to police.
