225 people of all ages gathered to assembly Care & Comfort Bundles
Hearts United Against Cancer hosted its fifth Care & Comfort Bundle Event on March 5 at Pitman United Methodist Church.
Two hundred and twenty-five volunteers of all ages gathered to bring cheer to men, women and children battling cancer.
The volunteers assembled 615 Care & Comfort Bundles, created 50 blankets, 210 pillows, and made hundreds of crafts and note cards.
Hearts United Against Cancer is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to deliver comfort and support to those battling through its Care & Comfort Bundle program.
Hearts United Against Cancer delivers or ships personalized bundles to individuals and delivers bundles to 18 hospitals and treatment centers in the tri-state area on a monthly basis. They have been a non-profit since July 2014 and to date have delivered or shipped over 4,200 bundles across 30 states.
