Second graders come to school dressed like they were 100 years old
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - Wedgwood Elementary School celebrated the 100th day of school on Feb. 12, with a parade throughout the school's hallways.
The stars of the show were the first- and second-grade students.
First-graders were charged with decorating hats with 100 items. They could be matching items, or a mishmash. And there was plenty of creativity.
Second-graders came to school dressed like they were 100 years old, complete with gray hair, canes, walkers and, in the case of one student, a shaved bald spot.
The first- and second-graders paraded around, passing the classrooms of their older schoolmates before gathering in the all-purpose room for photos.
