Delaware police officer and Woodbury native Jeff Davis has made YouTube's top 10 trending videos of 2015 after dash cam video showing him fiercely lip-syncing to a Taylor Swift became a viral hit earlier this year.
The video of Delaware police officer and Woodbury native Jeff Davis grooving to a Taylor Swift song has made YouTube's top 10 trending videos of 2015.
Dash-cam footage -- released in January by the Dover Police Department -- shows the master corporal fiercely lip-syncing to Swift's "Shake it Off." The video became an instant hit on the Internet.
Cruising in his patrol car, Davis lip-synced, shimmied his shoulders and bobbed his head to the beat with "sass," as Swift, herself, described on Twitter after viewing the video.

The video -- which has generated more than 37 million hits -- was a part of a fun series of videos the department released entitled Dash Cam Confessionals.
Davis previously said that he's known in his department as the funny guy.
He also said, according to a previous report, that though he is a Swift fan, the actual reason for his knowing all the words to the song was because of his 10-year-old daughter.
Davis was born and raised in Woodbury and was a 1986 graduate of Woodbury Junior-Senior High School.
