N.J. man sought for fleeing shore traffic stop, cops say

Police are looking for a Gloucester County man who allegedly fled from a traffic stop on Nov. 27.

NORTH WILDWOOD -- Police are looking for a Gloucester County man who allegedly fled a traffic stop on Nov. 27.

North Wildwood Police Officer Thomas Flounders Jr. stopped a blue 2007 Dodge Caravan at 11th and Delaware avenues for an equipment violation and driving a vehicle with a suspended registration, police said.

The vehicle was allegedly driven by George A. Caselli, 43, of Franklinville. The driver sped off as the officer approached, police said. The vehicle has New Jersey registration MNA-39F.

A warrant has been issued for Caselli's arrest. He is charged with eluding, a third-degree crime, and multiple traffic offenses. He is also wanted by Atlantic and Gloucester county sheriff's offices, Folsom municipal court and has a suspended driver's license.

Caselli is working as a handyman and staying somewhere in Cape May County, according to police.
