QUINTON -- A Pittsgrove man died in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on Waterworks Road.
Joshua Lee Moore, 35, was a passenger in a white Nissan Frontier traveling west on Waterworks Road. Shortly before 1 a.m. the driver -- a 55-year-old Salem man -- veered off the road for unknown reasons and slammed into a tree, according to New Jersey State Police.
Moore was taken to Inspira Medical Center Elmer and roughly 30 minutes later was pronounced dead by a doctor, authorities said.
The driver was flown to Christiana Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware, where he is listed in stable condition, police said.
Moore -- who had lived in South Harrison in Gloucester County -- was a graduate of Kingsway Regional High School.
