Nobody is sure when it disappeared, but one letter on the Gloucester County Historical Society's building has been missing for some time.
Bryan Bonfiglio, a member of the Historical Society board of trustees, is also a librarian at the Mullica Hill Branch of the Gloucester County Library System, which has two 3-D printers in its MakerStudio. Hoping to save the Historical Society some money, he brought the problem to Jim O'Connor, Maker-in-Residence at GCLS.
Using photos and some careful measurements, O'Connor was able to program a 3-D printer to replicate the missing "Y', turning the Historical "Societ" back into a Society.
