A man was treated for a facial injury after a handgun-wielding robber struck him in the face with the weapon on Tuesday night, police said.
WOODBURY -- A man was treated for a facial injury after a handgun-wielding robber struck him in the face with the weapon on Tuesday night, police said.
The victim told authorities he was walking in the area of Packer and Green streets around 9 p.m. when he was approached by a man wearing a mask and holding a .22-caliber handgun.
The bandit took the victim's wallet, which contained $400 cash, and struck him with the gun before fleeing.
The victim was treated and released from Inspira Medical Center Woodbury.
