FRANKLIN TWP. -- A South Jersey skating rink owner accused last summer of child endangerment and sexual assault now faces child pornography charges as well, the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office announced on Thursday.
John J. Carlo, owner of the Franklin Skating Center on Delsea Drive, was charged in August for allegedly making a video of a child in which "intimate parts" were exposed on camera. He was also accused of showing a child pornography on a laptop computer.

The new charges announced this week include one count each of first and second-degree manufacturing of child pornography. Police say Carlo made a video recording of himself "engaging in simulated sexual intercourse" with a 10-year-old.
Prosecutor's office detectives have seized computers from Carlo's home and business, and are still investigating the matter. Carlo has been free on $200,000 bail, and the GCPO said Thursday that no new bail was set for the additional charges.
