Monroe Township's Whitehall Elementary students had a special assembly to celebrate all of our veterans. The assembly honored many veterans in our community, who truly are our heroes. Then, these heroes visited the classrooms, where students were eagerly waiting their arrival. In Mrs. Davis' third grade class, Sgt. In Mrs. Davis' third grade class, Sgt. Israel and Mrs. Israel answered questions regarding his travels to Iraq. The questions ranged from what it was like to be so far away from home to how the food tasted when he was in a different country.
Whitehall students would like to thank Sgt. Israel and all of the other veterans for their service.
