His arrival at the mall Saturday morning was celebrated with a parade and several hours of festivities.
The event marked the official opening of Santa HQ at the mall.
Families took a journey through Santa's Magical Workshop and Observatory and had their photos taken with the big guy.
Holiday entertainment, live music, strolling characters and more helped usher in the start of the holiday season.
