Police say a 30-year-old woman was driving a 2007 Ford Econoline van heading east on Ellis Street when she lost control of the vehicle.
GLASSBORO -- A woman was injured in a car accident in the borough late Wednesday morning.
The crash occurred just before noon. Police say a 30-year-old woman was driving a 2007 Ford Econoline van heading east on Ellis Street, near the intersection with Higgins Drive, when she lost control of the vehicle.

The van ran off the road, hit a telephone pole, kept moving and crashed into a tree. The driver, whose name was not released, was trapped and had to be rescued by members of the Glassboro Fire Department, along with Gloucester County EMS and Inspira paramedics. She was taken to Cooper Hospital for unspecified injuries to her legs and chest.
Police did not reveal the woman's medical condition. Glassboro police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
