Authorities have arrested two fugitives sought by the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.

WOODBURY -- Authorities have arrested two fugitives sought by the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.

Stefan G. Bauer, of Grenloch, and Phillip F. Drinkwater III, of Pitman, were both taken into custody on Tuesday, officials said.

Drinkwater, 56, was sought after he failed to appear for a pre-arraignment interview on a theft charge. He is accused of accepting money to represent someone as an attorney then not performing the service. The victim paid Drinkwater $2,900, but before the legal matter was addressed he closed his law office and could not be found, police reported.

Drinkwater turned himself in to the GCPO's Fugitive Investigations Unit.

Bauer, 38, was sought after failing to appear in court on a shoplifting charge. He is accused of shoplifting from Rite-Aid in Woodbury. He was arrested at a friend's home in National Park on Tuesday.
