Event includes a car show, trunk-or-treating for kids and a free pork barbecue

MANTUA TWP. -- Faith Alliance Church invites everyone who has a car, had a car or loves cars to attend the 4th annual "Car-B-Que" on Friday, Sept. 30, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Carol Weinhardt, the director of this community outreach event at Faith Alliance says, "It's truly an event for the entire family. We are having a classic car and hot rod show, plus trunk or treating for children and a free pork barbecue dinner for everyone who attends. New this year, we will have professional DJ John Kelly entertaining with a mix of new inspirational music and classic car tunes."

If you have a classic car or hot rod bring it on down -- Faith Alliance Church has plenty of room. All the cars on display will be in a separate well-lit area of the parking lot.

"Come enjoy trunk or treating, dinner and a stroll down memory lane as you appreciate a wide variety of cars. The best part is it is all free," concluded Weinhardt.

If you would like to pre-register your car call the church office at 856-589-5819 or by email at faithsewell@comcast.net.

If it rains, the event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 5 to 8 p.m.

The church is fully handicapped accessible. Faith Alliance Church, a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, is located at 423 Barnsboro Road (between Breakneck Road and Route 322) in the Sewell section of Mantua Township. For more information about the "Car-B-Que," contact the church office at 856-589-5819 or visit www.faithsewell.org.
