Students returned to school on Wednesday morning.
WOODBURY HEIGHTS -- Teachers welcomed students for the first day of the new school year at Woodbury Heights Elementary School on Wednesday morning.
Students gathered outside of the school with their parents and waited for their teachers to lead them inside to begin the new year.
While some schools resumed classes before Labor Day, most in Gloucester County reopened Tuesday and Wednesday.
Motorists are reminded to watch for kids crossing streets or waiting at bus stops around the region.
