UPPER PITTSGROVE TWP. -- The Faith and Freedom Coalition of New Jersey will welcome Coptic Christian Father Mina Mina and Frank Shelton from Franklin Graham's "Decision America Tour" at its September meeting.
The Coalition will meet Tuesday, Sept. 6, 7 p.m. at the Elmer Grange.
Father Mina Mina from St. Mary's Coptic Orthodox Church in Delaware will explain firsthand the detailed ISIS strategy which was written by a top al-Qaida member in 2004 in a book called "Administration (Management) of Savagery." It provides a strategy for Jihadists to create an Islamic Caliphate.
Father Mina Mina also strives to raise awareness about the treasured history of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Egypt and to share the richness of the Egyptian culture and its traditions.
The the same meeting Tuesday the Faith and Freedom Coalition will host Frank Shelton, field representative to Franklin Graham's "Decision America Tour."
Shelton worked two decades on Capitol Hill and has a passion for God and country.
"My office on Capitol Hill was evacuated on 9/11. I was working at the Republican National Committee one block from the U.S. Capitol when the plane hit New York City. When the Pentagon was on fire they evacuated us thinking the U.S. Capitol was the next target. Since I was a block and a half away, the police were telling us to get out. It was a day I won't forget. While millions watched it on TV, I was watching in real time," Shelton said.
That was the moment that gave Shelton a sense of urgency to step it up and take a stand, he says.
The Elmer Grange Hall is located at 535 Daretown Rd. in Upper Pittsgrove, near the Pole Tavern Circle.
The Faith and Freedom Coalition says the Sept. 6 meeting should be a time of enlightenment and encouragement.
All are encouraged to attend and there is no cost for the venue.
