WOODBURY -- A judge refused to reduce the bail for a Paulsboro man accused of robbing a West Deptford gas station at gun point, according to the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.

Malcom D. Tyson, 23, was identified as the man seen entering a Citgo station who attempted to rob two witnesses with a gun, prosecutors said. He is charged with first degree armed robbery, second degree threatening bodily injury while committing a robbery, second degree conspiracy to commit robbery, second degree possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, second degree unlawful possession of a weapon, third degree theft and third degree threatening to assault.

Judge Robert P. Becker Jr. denied a petition for lower bail Friday, keeping it at $75,000 and saying that no new information to cause a reevaluation was presented, the prosecutor's office said.
