An employee at the Exxon gas station suffered minor injuries when he was hit with a tire iron during an armed robbery.
NEWFIELD --Police are searching for a man who robbed the Exxon Gas Station on Harding Highway at gunpoint Friday night.
The white male walked into the store with a handgun and demanded money from an employee working there, police said He also hit the employee with a tire iron and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The victim was brought to Inspira Hospital in Vineland with minor injuries.
Police officers from Monroe Township, Franklin Township, Newfield and the New Jersey State Police assisted at the scene.
