A month-long investigation led the arrest of four in Glassboro on drug charges.
GLASSBORO -- A month-long investigation led to the arrest of four people on drug possession and distribution charges in Glassboro, authorities said.
Gloucester SWAT executed a search warrant at 5:20 a.m. Wednesday at a house on Church Street resulting in the arrest of Michael Simpson, 27, Lloyd Joseph, 26, Euginio Fortunato, 23, and Murphy Wallace, 25.
During the warrant search, police found a large quantity of marijuana, MDMA/Molly in the house. Police also found digital scales, drug packaging materials, and an unspecified large amount of cash.
Simpson, of Glassboro, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute MDMA, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of marijuana over 50 grams.
Joseph, also of Glassboro, was charged with possession of CDS, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
Simpson and Joseph were held at the Salem County Correctional Facility in default of $15,000 bail.
Both Fortunato and Wallace were charged with numerous CDS offenses and released on summonses.
Gloucester County Guns, Gangs, and Narcotics Unit assisted Glassboro Police Special Investigations Unit in the investigation.
