A 10 to 12-foot long snake has been spotted in Paulsboro.
PAULSBORO -- Borough police are warning residents to keep an eye out for a large snake that was seen on East Jefferson Street Tuesday.
A resident called police to the area, but by the time animal control responded the snake, which is believed to be a boa constrictor, went into a hole in the ground and was not able to be captured.
It is believed to be between 10 and 12 feet long and 60 pounds and police warn on a post via Facebook that it could injure or kill small animals.
If anyone sees the snake, they are asked to call 911.
