Two sheep have wandered from their home and have been spotted making their way through Pitman.

PITMAN -- Uh-oh, two baaaaad sheep have wandered away from their home and have been out and about in the streets of Pitman since Thursday afternoon.

The Pitman Today Facebook page is urging residents to keep an eye out and count sheep on their way through town today.

According to a post on the Facebook page, two little lambs have wandered from their home and have been making their way through town.

One commenter said "Stop, this is a joke, right? Is there a punch line?"

Another added "OMG, this made me laugh so hard. Yeah, because there are so often sheep roaming Pitman."

It took a comment or two on the post before residents realized it's not a joke and two lost sheep are actually wandering through the streets of Pitman.

The original post about the sheep was put up June 9 in the late afternoon, and unfortunately, according to comments early the following morning, the two sheep still have not been caught or located.

Anyone who sees the animals or has any information on where they might be should not be sheepish and is asked to call 856-430-6489.
