With the cancellation of Deptford Day this year, the community can attend many other events throughout South Jersey.
DEPTFORD TWP. -- In light of Deptford Day, a celebration that's been held since 1973, being canceled, the community can check out other attractions throughout South Jersey planned for the weekend.
There are plans to replace the event by an end-of-the-summer community barbecue at Fasola Park, the same location as Deptford Day.
Members of the community and fans of the long-standing community celebration have started a petition to bring back Deptford Day. Supporters can sign the petition to add the question of bringing back the celebration to this November's ballot for the voters of Deptford.
However, if you can't wait until then, check out one of these events instead.
