From azaleas to zinnias — flowers for all seasons
The Mickleton Garden Club will host its 71st Annual Flower Show on Thursday, May 12 at Zion Community Church, 242 Kings Highway, Clarksboro. Theme this year is "A Celebration of Seasons in the Garden." Exhibits will include flower design and horticulture specimens.
Both club members and other amateur flower arrangers are invited to enter exhibits in the show. The entries are judged by a panel of accredited judges and ribbons are awarded.
In addition to the flower and plant exhibits, there will be houseplants, garden plants, raffle baskets, baked goods and other food items for sale. For more information, contact Pam Coumbe at 609-516-2098
The Flower Show will be open to the public from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
