WTHS's softball team ranked No 8 and boys soccer No. 5 nationally
WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP - A gigantic mural touting the Group IV state championships won by the Washington Township High School boys soccer and softball teams now adorns the facade of the school's 11/12 wing, near the athletic facilities.
The mural lists the 2015 softball team's year-end No. 8 national ranking, and the No. 5 national ranking of the 2014 boys soccer team. The bottom of the mural includes the motto "Valuing Academic and Athletic Excellence.
The mural was sponsored and paid for by Elite Express and Joe Meintel.
