The home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.

EASTAMPTON TWP. -- High winds helped fuel a fire that destroyed a home Sunday morning, fire official said.

The fire was reported around 7:30 a.m. on Mill Creek Road.

Gusting winds fed the fire, officials said, and the two-story structure and a detached garage were fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.

No injuries were reported and the occupants of the home escaped unharmed.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

Eastampton Fire Department was assisted by units from Westampton, Lumberton, Mt. Holly, Pemberton, Bordertown, Hainesport and Springfield.

High winds Sunday morning toppled trees and knocked out power to thousands across the state.
