Learn how to start or expand a business at Washington Township Library workshops

Have you ever thought about starting your own business? Do you have a small business that you'd like to expand?

The Margaret E. Heggan Free Public Library in Washington Township is offering a series of workshops to assist small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Get the basics on small business funding at a workshop presented by Sheryl Paynter, Economic Development Specialist with the U.S. Small Business Administration, on Wednesday, April 6 at 6:30 p.m. This workshop will help you search and find appropriate outside sources of funding for your business and the resources that are available to you through SBA and other sources.

On Thursday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m., business consultant Bob Marino will present "Focusing on Customer Service." Learn about increasing your customer base and your bottom line by focusing on customer service, and putting into practice, proven customer service techniques.

Join the Reference Librarian for an overview of the library's business-related databases on Tuesday, April 12 at 7 p.m.

These workshops are free and open to everyone. Advance online or phone registration for each workshop is required. Please go to Events and Programs at www.hegganlibrary.org or call the library to register.
