Open to women interested in learning about the sport of triathlon
The Mullica Hill Women's Triathlon Club's "Newbie Night" is an open event to any female who is interested in learning about the sport of triathlon. It is the perfect opportunity to learn about swim, bike, run and transitions. Every attendee will get a packet of information that will provide all of the information needed to start the season as well as a list of races. All levels are welcome to attend.
"Newbie Night" will be held March 1 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Bogey's Club & Cafe, 501 Pitman Road in Mantua Township. The event is free to all members of the club and those who are thinking about becoming members.
The Mullica Hill Women's Tri Club is comprised of over 800 women and teenagers and is the largest triathlon club on the East Coast and the largest female triathlon club in the United States.
The club offers group training, motivation and support to help all of its members complete a triathlon. In addition, the club also supports positive change in our community through our philanthropic efforts. In 2016, bike safety initiatives for cyclists and motorists will be our main focus.
