NATIONAL PARK -- The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders announced that the Whitall House will be hosting Heritage Sunday, on Sept. 20 from noon to 4 p.m.
The theme of this Heritage Sunday will be "The First Delaware Regiment." Meet a field surgeon, see a master gunsmith in action and participate in a muster drill. Tours of the house will take place throughout the day.
There will be music of colonial times and hearth cooking. The gardens and butterfly house will also be open.
Admission is free. The James and Ann Whitall House is located at Gloucester County's Red Bank Battlefield Park, 100 Hessian Ave. in National Park.
