DEPTFORD TWP. -- Rowan College at Gloucester County (RCGC) will host award-winning renowned filmmaker, social entrepreneur and transformational speaker Jesus Nebot on Sept. 17 at noon in the College Center Mezzanine. The topic, "Illegal Immigration: A humanitarian perspective," focuses on a challenging social issue. This intriguing cultural event is being offered by the college in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. The presentation is free and open to the public.

In five years, Nebot took his life from homeless to financially free, and is now a successful entrepreneur and humanitarian. He has won 26 international awards for writing, directing and producing films. These films have been viewed in over 80 countries by millions of people. His critically acclaimed illegal immigration feature, "No Turning Back," has won 23 International Film Festival awards. As well as being the producer and host of the Time Warners' "The Love Show," he is also the founder of the Oneness Institute and a founding archangel of Humanity Unites Brilliance.

With his dynamic style, Nebot has lectured in more than 30 American states and 10 additional countries around the world delivering his life-transforming message. He has been named one of "The Top 100 Latinos on the Move" by Latino Impact Magazine and is now on the path to inspire personal and social healing and transformation through his work.
