The Valerie Fund is thankful for the $1.3 Million donated over the past two years by New Jersey auto dealerships.
In 2015, 180 dealerships have donated nearly $550,000 as part of the New Jersey Auto Retailers Unite campaign, a one-of- a-kind partnership between The Valerie Fund and franchised auto retailers. The dealerships' generous efforts will enable The Valerie Fund to continue its mission of providing hope, care and compassion to children with cancer and blood disorders here in New Jersey.
Burlington and Gloucester County dealerships who participated this year are Burns Buick GMC, Hyundai and Burns Honda of Marlton, Barlow Chevrolet of Delran and Barlow GMC Buick of Woodbury, Group 1's Elite Acura of Cherry Hill, Elkins Chevrolet of Marlton and Davis Honda of Burlington.
Spearheaded by the New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers (NJCAR), the five-month campaign also successfully increased awareness of The Valerie Fund and highlighted the incredible philanthropic work auto retailers do in communities throughout New Jersey.
Website visitors also had the opportunity to offer their own support by purchasing chances in the sweepstakes or making a donation directly to The Valerie Fund.
