Police have arrested a Philadelphia man who was sought on a larceny charge in Maryland.
HARRISON TWP. -- Township police have arrested a Philadelphia man who was sought on a larceny charge in Maryland.
Paul Fekete, 49, was stopped for a motor vehicle violation around 3 p.m. Sunday, Lt. Ronald A. Cundey said.
During the course of the stop, police learned Fekete had warrants for traffic violations totaling $111 in Wildwood City and $85 in Atlantic City.
They then discovered he was wanted in Prince George's County, Maryland, on the larceny charge, Cundey explained.
Fekete was charged with being a fugitive from justice and placed in Salem County Correctional Facility on $50,000 bail while he awaits extradition to Maryland.
Patrolman Kevin McGowan was assisted on the case by Patrolman Jonathan Thompson.
