A Swedesboro man has jailed on charges that he sexually assaulted a 5-year-old child, according to Haverford Township Police.
HAVERFORD, Pa. -- A Swedesboro man has been jailed on charges that he sexually assaulted a 5-year-old child, according to Haverford Township Police.
Michael S. Goodwin, 40, is charged with assaulting his girlfriend's child at the victim's home. Goodwin was a part-time caretaker for the child, police said.
Goodwin is charged with aggravated indecent assault of a child, indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, endangering the welfare of a child, corruption of a minor and contact/communication with a minor for the purpose of sexual offenses.
Goodwin is originally from Philadelphia but now lives in Swedesboro, police said.
He was placed in Delaware County Prison on $75,000 cash bail.
