MANTUA - Members of the SkillsUSA program at the Gloucester County Institute of Technology gathered Saturday morning at Lowe's in Mantua to help children build crafts.
All down isle 19 were kids hammering away, creating small wooden toys with the help of their GCIT mentors and parents. Cake and cupcakes were served afterwards.
GCIT was awarded the 2015 SkillsUSA Models of Excellence. This event was held to thank Lowe's for sponsoring SkillsUSA - a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together.
